University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) always contributes in efforts to spread benefits to the community. One of them is the schedule of accelerating vaccination. Together with Kodim 0818 Malang-Batu, the two of them again held a second dose of vaccination located in the Dome Hall of UMM. The event was held on Friday (20/8).
Field Coordinator (Korlap) for the second vaccination of the 0818 Kodim, Muh. Sholeh said that this plan is specifically for those who will get the second vaccine. At the same time, people who want to get the first dose of the Sinovac vaccine can not be given. "For the time being, we prioritize the people who should receive the second vaccine. For those who have not been vaccinated, who may transfer them later," he continued.
Sholeh, his nickname, continued that some residents had the wrong idea and, in the end, had to go home without giving the vaccine. He also said that many participants did not know a second dose of vaccination on this date. According to him, this was due to the delayed arrival of the vaccine. So the schedule for giving the double dose of vaccine must also be postponed.
He admitted that the implementation of the second dose of vaccination was relatively smooth. It cannot be separated from previous experiences and evaluations. In addition, the online data collection system used is also faster than the previous one.
Sholeh also expressed his pleasure at taking part in humanitarian missions and providing solutions for the wider community. He hoped that Kodim's efforts could help the government's program improve the community's health. In this case, it is speeding up the vaccination process. "We have prepared as many as 3,000 vaccines per day in the past two days. This activity is also a form to spread benefits to people in need," added the man from Nganjuk.
Meanwhile, Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd. Revealed that there was no other choice but to speed up vaccination. This is one of the efforts to accelerate the vaccine, especially the second dose. The white campus is also ready to coordinate to contribute together during the pandemic.
Fauzan also said that this plan was implementing one of the GESIT programs that UMM had been promoting for a long time. The program in question is to campaign for vaccinations for a Covid-free Indonesia aggressively. "These various efforts are intended to provide benefits to others. Especially in the health aspect," he concluded. (apg/wil)
